Somos un grupo de socorristas y patrones que llevamos años realizando las tareas de socorrismo y salvamento marítimo de manera voluntaria en Euskadi. Ante la actual situación migratoria en el Mar Egeo (Grecia) hemos creado la asociación Salvamento Marítimo Humanitario (SMH) para salvar vidas. Nuestra vocación de servicio nos empuja a acudir a socorrer a los refugiados que se aventuran en busca de nuevas oportunidades cruzando el mar.
Nuestro objetivo es salvaguardar la vida de las personas en la mar con los principios de voluntariado, solidaridad, humanidad, universalidad, igualdad, imparcialidad y dignidad. Necesitamos llegar cuanto antes a Lesbos, isla griega a la que más refugiados están llegando y donde creemos que vamos a ser de gran ayuda.
En estos momentos estamos proveyéndonos de todo el material necesario para poder realizar las labores de socorrismo y rescate lo antes posible.

Egeo itsasoan ematen ari den migrazio egoerarekin hunkituta, Salvamento Marítimo Humanitario (SMH) asoziazioa sortu dugu bizitzak salbatzeko asmoarekin. Sentitzen dugun zerbitzu bokazioak bultzatu egin gaitu aukera berriak bilatzeko asmoarekin itsasoa zeharkatzen ari diren errefuxiatuei laguntza ematera.
Gure helburua itsasoan dauden pertsonen bizitza salbatzea da, boluntariotza, solidaritate, gizatasun, unibertsaltasun, berdintasun, impartzialtasun eta duintasun printzipioak kontuan izanda. Ahalik eta azkarren iritsi behar dugu Lesbosera, Greziako uhartea non errefuxiatu gehienak iristen ari diren, bertan izango baitugu laguntzeko aukera gehienak.

We are a group of lifeguards and skippers who have spent years performing the tasks of aid and rescue at sea voluntarily in the Basque Country (north coast of Spain). Given the current migration situation in the Aegean Sea (Greece) we have created the Salvamento Marítimo Humanitario association (Humanitarian Maritime Rescue) to save lives. Our dedication to service pushes us to go to help refugees who venture in search of new opportunities across the sea.
Our goal is to safeguard the lives of people at sea with the principles ofvolunteerism, solidarity, humanity, universality, equality, fairness and dignity. We need to get to Lesbos as soon as posible, the Greek island where most refugees are arriving and where we believe we will be of great help.
At the moment we are trying to obtain all the equipment we need to perform first aid and rescue tasks as soon as possible.

Nous sommes un groupe de secouriste et patrons qui ont fait du volontariatpendant des années au domaine de l’aide et du secours maritime au Pays Basque. Compte tenu de la situation actuelle avec la migration dans la mer Egée (Grèce), nous avons créé l’association Salvamento Marítimo Humanitario (SMH, traduit au français Sauvetage Maritime Humanitaire) pour sauver des vies. Notre vocation de servir nous pousse à aller aider les réfugiés qui se risquent à la recherche de nouvelles opportunités à travers la mer.
Notre objectif est de préserver la vie des gens en mer suivant les principes devolontariat, solidarité, humanité, universalité, égalité, équité et dignité. Nous avons besoin d’atteindre dès que possible Lesbos, l’île grecque à laquelle le plus de réfugiés arrive et où nous pensons être d’une grande aide.
À l’heure actuelle, nous voulons nous fournir, au plus tôt possible, de tout le matériel nécessaire pour effectuer les premiers secours et l’équipement de sauvetage.
