BIG WAVE TALKS. Casa de Cultura Okendo. 18.30. Reunión de tamañeros locales e invitados para hablar de sesiones, material, seguridad, nuevas fronteras… estarán Ramon Navarro, Kohl Christensen, Peyo Lizarazu, Axi Muniain, Indar Unanue, Patch Wilson, Benjamin Sanchis, Adur Letamendia, Andoni Ostolaza, Joao de Macedo.
¿Cómo ha evolucionado Donosti en los últimos 50 años? Fotografías, vídeos y objetos que reflejan los problemas de los spots más icónicos de la historia contemporánea del surf. Buscamos entender cómo abordar soluciones. Abierta hasta el 22 de agosto.
LA PRIMERA OLA. Estreno Mundial. Teatro Principal 22.30 ¿Cómo y quién empezó con el Surfing en nuestro país? Pedro Temboury recorre en este documental los orígenes del surf en España. Más de 80 testimonios, 3.000 metros de súper 8s inéditos de la época, cientos de fotografías y más de 10.000 km recorridos en busca de las auténticas historias. ¡Y los míticos del surf estarán con nosotros!

Friday 26th: BIG WAVE TALKS, EXHIBITION AND FILMS
BIG WAVE TALKS. Okendo Culture House 18.30 A crew of local chargers and guests from all over the world talking about epic sessions, board, security… surfers attending: Peyo Lizarazu, Axi Muniain, Indar Unanue, Ramon Navarro, Kohl Christensen, Patch Wilson, Benjamin Sanchis, Adur Letamendia, Andoni Ostolaza, Joao de Macedo.
How did the world coastlines change in the last 50 years? Photographs, films, objects, to takes us to key surf spots around the world to learn about frictions, but mostly to understand how they can be solved. Open until August 22th. Where were the first waves ridden, and who rode them? In this documentary Pedro Temboury traces the origins of surfing in Spain. More than 3,000 metres of unedited Super 8 film, hundreds of photographs and more than 10.000km traveled searching for best stories. And most of the surfers of that time will be with us!

Nola aldatu da kosta azkeneko 50 urteotan? Surf-aren historia garaikideko spot ikonikoetako arazoak isladatzen dituzten argazki, bideo eta objektuak. Konponbideei nola aurre egin ulertzea bilatzen dugu. Abuztuak 22 arte egongo da.

Surf-ak Espainian izan zuen hasiera Pedro Temboury-k zuzenduriko dokumental batean. 80 testigantza baino gehiago, inoiz erakutsi ez diren super 8an grabaturiko 3.000 metro, ehundaka argazki eta 10.000km baino gehiago istorio hunkarrienen bila. Eta garai hartako mitikoak gurekin egongo dira!
